An introduction to Her Clarity and what to expect

What is somatic healing?

Many of us were taught to think through our feelings — to stay composed, to keep going. But the body remembers what the mind forgets.

Somatic healing is the practice of listening to those quiet signals — the tight shoulders, shallow breath, heaviness in your chest — and meeting them with compassion instead of correction.

At Her Clarity, this work gently bridges East and West: reconnecting to your Qi (your life force), restoring flow through breath, presence, and awareness.

With care and safety, you release what’s been held for too long and return to a quieter, steadier rhythm inside.

“Clarity isn’t something we force. It’s what arises when the body feels safe to exhale.”

What is breathwork, really?

Breath is our first language — and often the first thing we lose touch with.

In each session, I guide you through different breathing rhythms that help your body settle, open, and speak.

Some are soft and meditative. Others go deeper, helping unwind emotions you’ve carried quietly for years.

Every practice is trauma-informed and shaped by your comfort level.

In East Asian traditions, this is Qi flow.
In yogic traditions, it is Pranayama.
In somatic language, it is regulation.

Different words — same truth:
Your body already knows how to come home.

You don't need any experience to begin.
Your breath will guide you, gently and in your own rhythm.

How is breathwork different from yoga or meditation?

If you’ve practiced yoga or meditation, some parts of breathwork will feel familiar — the slowing down, the awareness, the sense of returning to your inner world.

Yoga asana focuses on physical postures and movement, while meditation focuses on stillness and observing the mind.
Breathwork works more directly with your nervous system and the emotions your body has been quietly holding.

It helps you not only observe your inner experience, but also soften, express, and release what’s inside, in a safe and supported way.

Breathwork can absolutely calm the mind — but it can also open space for deeper emotional shifts that yoga or meditation may not always reach.

It can deepen your yoga or meditation practice, but its impact extends far beyond the mat.
Your breath supports how you meet yourself in daily life — in relationships, at work, in stressful moments, and in the small pauses where you return to your breath and feel yourself again.

You don’t need any experience with yoga, meditation, or breathwork — your breath will always meet you where you are.

What can I expect from a session?

Before we begin

You’ll be welcomed into a safe, grounded space — whether online or in person. No special preparation is needed; simply come as you are. You may wish to have some water nearby, a journal or a few sheets of paper, and something to write or draw with — whatever helps you stay present and express what arises.

During the session

We’ll begin with breath and gentle somatic cues — movement, visualization, or stillness — depending on the group’s collective energy. You’ll always have choice: to close your eyes, to move, or to rest.

After the session

You may feel lighter, emotional, calm, or deeply peaceful. Your body might continue processing afterward — that’s natural. I’ll share ways to integrate — journaling, rest, or gentle walks — to help your body settle.

What if I feel nervous or emotional?

You’re not alone if you feel this. Many women share that it feels unusual at first to let go or be still. Some feel tears rise; others feel warmth or tingling. All of it is part of the body’s natural unwinding.

You’ll never be asked to go further than what feels gentle and true for you. The breath will guide you — technique develops gently over time without you needing to push or perform. Everything unfolds gently, in your own rhythm.

This is a space of permission — to feel, to not know, to simply breathe again.

Is this therapy?

Her Clarity sessions are not therapy, and they aren’t meant to replace it.
While some women find that somatic and breathwork practices naturally complement the inner work they do in therapy, this space offers something a little different.

Therapy often helps you explore the story of your experiences — the thoughts, patterns, and meanings.
Somatic and breathwork practices invite you to feel and release what lives beneath the story — the sensations, emotions, and energy held in the body.

This is a space to reconnect with yourself, find clarity, and soften into being — a place to be witnessed and supported in community as you remember your own rhythm and wholeness.

If you’re already working with a therapist or counselor, this work can gently support that process.
If not, that’s completely okay — you’re welcome here, exactly as you are.

Healing doesn’t come from someone else — it unfolds when you begin listening to your own body and energy. I guide women in learning the tools, techniques, and practices that help them listen to their body’s wisdom, so their whole system — body, mind, and spirit — can do what it’s designed to do: heal, restore, and come back into balance.

Her Clarity sessions support emotional, energetic, and somatic well-being but are not a replacement for therapy or medical care.

Who is this for?

Her Clarity is for women who are ready to reconnect with themselves — whether you’re moving through change or simply feeling a pull toward something deeper.

You might be:

  • An overthinker learning to feel again

  • A caretaker learning to receive

  • A high achiever remembering softness

  • Someone who’s “doing fine” on the outside but craving more ease, presence, or meaning

  • A woman seeking practices to stay grounded amid the pace of life

  • Someone curious about embodiment, breath, or gentle healing — but not sure where to begin

This space isn’t about quick fixes, perfection, or performance — it’s about remembering who you are beneath the noise.
You belong here, exactly as you are.

What is Her Clarity Circle?

The Her Clarity Circle is an intentionally designed 3-month somatic + breathwork journey for women who want to reconnect with themselves in a deeper, more embodied way.

It’s a small, intimate circle — held with care, grounded in community, and rooted in a gentle return to self.

We move through a clear yet spacious arc:
Regulation — settling your system and rebuilding trust
Emotional release — softening what’s been held
Integration — realigning with what feels true

Each gathering blends:
• Breathwork
• Grounding somatic practices
• Reflection or journaling
• Optional gentle sharing (never forced)
• Moments to be witnessed — without pressure or performance

The Circle is offered as a hybrid journey.
Some women join fully online for privacy and ease; others prefer a mix of online and in-person sessions.
Both pathways offer the same depth, intimacy, and attuned support.

The pacing is slow and intentional, giving your body time to integrate naturally between sessions.

This is a space to soften, breathe, and move back toward the clarity that’s already within you.

Enrollment for the founding cohort opens soon.

What is A Moment To Breathe?

A Moment to Breathe is a gentle breathwork class — a soft exhale for women who want to slow down, release a little tension, and reconnect with themselves.

Each class is compassionately guided, with practices that are mostly grounding and soothing — especially if you’re new to breathwork. At times, we may weave in slightly more activating breaths — always safely, slowly, and with choice — to support emotional release and deeper presence.

Each gathering includes:
• Breathwork
• Grounding somatic cues
• Quiet reflection or journaling
• Seasonal or emotional themes
• Optional sharing — never required, always held with care

A Moment to Breathe offers a soft landing amid the pace of modern life — a space to pause, release, and return to yourself.

No prior experience is needed — everything is guided with care, at a pace that feels right for your body.
