Gentle Guide & FAQs

An introduction to Her Clarity and what to expect

  • Breathwork is a guided practice that uses intentional breathing rhythms to help your body settle, soften, and reconnect.

Some practices are grounding and meditative, while others gently support emotional release and regulation.

In sessions, we focus on breathing rhythms and mindful presence — you are guided and supported throughout, with space to move at your own pace.

No prior experience is needed. You don’t need to know how to breathe “correctly” or have done any body-based work before — your breath meets you where you are.

    Different traditions use different names:
    • In East Asian traditions — Qi
    • In yogic traditions — Pranayama
    • In somatic work — nervous system regulation

Different words, same truth: your body already remembers the way home.

  • Breathwork works directly with your nervous system — the part of you that shapes how you respond to stress, safety, focus, and emotion.

When you change your breath, you change the signals your body sends to your brain. This can support regulation, increase steadiness, and help you stay present with your experience — rather than being pulled into automatic stress responses.

Over time, breathwork helps reshape the patterns underneath reactivity.

It supports greater capacity to feel a full range of emotions, notice sensations without overwhelm, and respond with more choice rather than reflex.

The aim isn’t to feel calm all the time. It’s to feel more grounded, resourced, and able to meet what arises — whether that’s rest, emotion, energy, or clarity.

It’s a simple practice with a wide reach, used across cultures and contexts because it supports clarity, resilience, and a more connected relationship with the body.

  • Breathwork is used by people in many fields — from singers and athletes to leaders, parents, creatives, and anyone navigating stress or high-pressure moments.

But you don’t need to be a performer or a professional to benefit from it.

    Breathwork can help you:

    • feel more grounded and settled after a long or draining day — whether at work or at home
    • reset after heavy or emotionally intense interactions
    • feel steadier during moments of stress, conflict, or overwhelm
    • release emotions or tension that aren’t yours
    • be more present and regulated with your kids, your partner, or the people closest to you

    • feel calmer and more resourced before meetings, presentations, or interviews
    • feel more confident during difficult or vulnerable conversations
    • think more clearly and make decisions with more ease
    • recover more smoothly from stress and overstimulation

    • unwind and sleep more deeply at night
    • meditate more deeply or comfortably
    • support yoga, movement, or HIIT practices
    • strengthen self-care by giving your body a reliable way to reset and restore

It’s a simple tool you can use anytime — not to eliminate emotion, but to support steadiness, clarity, and choice in how you respond at work, at home, and in your relationships.

  • Yoga asana focuses on movement and posture.
Meditation focuses on stillness and observing the mind.
Breathwork works more directly with your nervous system and the emotions held beneath the surface.

It doesn’t just help you notice what you feel — it supports you in softening, releasing, and reconnecting with yourself.

It can deepen your yoga or meditation practice, but its impact extends into daily life — how you meet stress, relationships, and yourself.

  • I guide a gentle, trauma-informed blend of breath practices from several traditions, including:

    Pranayama (Vedic/yogic)
    Himalayan breath practices
    Somatic regulation techniques
    Qi-based breath rhythms
    Restorative, down-regulating breaths

Each practice is guided with care and attunement — with pacing, emphasis, and cues adjusted to support where your nervous system is in that moment.

For more experienced practitioners or specific flows, we may weave in mild activating patterns for emotional release or deeper presence. I also continue training in more advanced modalities, including shamanic and rapid rhythmic breathwork, but these are introduced only when appropriate and never for beginners.

My intention is always the same:
Your breath meets you where you are — never beyond what your body is ready for.

  • Yes — absolutely.

Most women who join Her Clarity are completely new to breathwork or somatic work. Every session is guided slowly, gently, and with choice, so your body never feels pushed or overwhelmed.

    You don’t need any experience.
You don’t need to “know how to breathe right.”
You don’t need to be flexible, spiritual, or emotionally prepared.

Your breath will meet you exactly where you are — and we go at your pace, not anyone else’s.

  • Somatic healing is the practice of listening to the body — the tight shoulders, shallow breaths, or heaviness you can’t quite name — and meeting those signals with compassion instead of correction.

At Her Clarity, this work gently bridges East and West: reconnecting to your Qi restoring flow through breath, presence, and awareness.

With safety and care, your body begins to unwind what it’s held for too long.

  • Before:
You’ll be welcomed into a grounded space — online or in person. No special preparation is needed. Bring water, a journal, or anything that helps you feel present.

    During:
We begin with breath and gentle somatic cues — movement, visualization, or stillness. You always have choice: to move, to rest, to close your eyes, or to pause.

    After:
You may feel lighter, emotional, quiet, or deeply peaceful. Your body may keep processing — that’s natural. I’ll offer grounding practices to help everything settle and for you to integrate your practice.

  • You’re not alone — many women feel this at first.

Tears, warmth, tingling, or emotion rising are all natural ways your body unwinds.

You’ll never be asked to go beyond your comfort. Everything happens slowly, gently, and in your own rhythm.

This is a space of permission — to feel, to not know, to simply breathe again.

  • No — Her Clarity sessions are not therapy, and they don’t replace it.

Therapy explores thoughts, patterns, and past experiences.
Somatic and breathwork practices invite you to feel and release what lives beneath the story — the sensations, emotions, and energy held in the body.

This space supports emotional, energetic, and somatic well-being but is not a clinical or medical service.

If you’re working with a therapist, this work can complement that process.
If not, you are welcome here exactly as you are.

  • This space is for women who are ready to reconnect with themselves — whether you’re moving through change or simply craving something deeper.

    You might be:
    • An overthinker learning to feel again
    • A caretaker learning to receive
    • A high achiever remembering softness
    • Someone “doing fine” but craving more ease
    • Curious about embodiment or breath
    • Seeking grounding in a fast-paced life

This isn’t about performance or perfection.
It’s about returning to who you are beneath the noise.

  • Seasonal Group Sessions are small, carefully held breathwork experiences designed to help you unwind, settle your nervous system, and reconnect with your body.

Themes vary by season and may include The Overachiever’s Exhale, The Flow of Enough, and Unwind Your Mind.

Sessions are offered periodically, either online or in person. Details are shared as each session opens.

  • 1:1 sessions are a private, supportive space to work with breath, gentle somatic cues, and reflection — tailored to your patterns, pace, and capacity.

Sessions are guided and responsive, and may be offered online or in person depending on availability and fit.

This is for women who want personalized support and a steady place to slow down, settle their nervous system, and reconnect with themselves.

  • Her Clarity Circle is a small, seasonal breathwork and somatic group container for women who want deeper, ongoing support over a few weeks.

Each cycle is held with slow pacing and consistent presence, allowing space for regulation, gentle release, and integration over time.

The Circle is offered periodically. Details are shared when a new cycle begins.
